Breckenridge is a popular ski resort and cute little mountain town. It’s the location of our wedding ceremony + reception and likely where you are staying. There’s plenty to do in Breck, but don’t forget to explore some of the other nearby towns…they’re worth a stop too!
PS: If nothing below strikes your fancy, Yelp is a great resource.

Eat / Drink
The Canteen Taphouse & Tavern: This is Cam’s favorite restaurant in Breckenridge. His order of choice? The Mac & Cheese with bacon, green chili and CheeseIts…a true winter meal. Also, all their drinks come in canteens, a fun novelty.
Crepes a la Cart: This food stand always has a line and smells oh-so-delicious.
Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant: Good food and a unique distillery, complete with espresso vodka and bourbon whiskey. The tour of the distillery is great. Consider making reservations as it can be a popular spot.
Mountain Top Cookie Shop: This spot is famous for their incredible cookies. They also will make you a sandwich with 2 cookies and a cream filling that is out of this world. And a sugar bomb. Split it with someone. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Kava Cafe: For mini-donuts, bagels and breakfast sandwiches, this is your place.
Duggan’s Deli: A great place for a sandwich, to take away or to eat at the deli.
Downstairs at Eric’s: Pizza and an arcade? What more can you want? (Especially if you have kids in tow.)
Blue Moose: A great local breakfast spot. Cash-only.
Cool River Coffee House: Inexpensive breakfast joint that you can sit down at or grab ‘n go.
Daylight Donuts: A 65-year old joint, this place sells…you guessed it…donuts.
Fatty’s Pizzeria: We’ve never been here, but the restaurant does share a nickname with Cam (given to him by his dad). Supposedly they have the best pizza in town.
Lolo Juice: This juice, smoothie and wrap place shares Lauren’s childhood nickname (given to her by her mom).
TBar: This spot at the top of Peak 8, with gorgeous views, is known for their Bloody Mary’s. (This is also where brunch is happening on Monday. If you won’t be making the brunch, it’s definitely worth stopping here just for the views. You can take the free gondola up from town.)
Other Watering Holes: Some of the local bars include: Absinthe Bar, The Mine Breck (with ping pong, darts, shuffleboard, pool and foosball), and Apres. Breweries to check out: Breckenridge Brewery, Broken Compass Brewery, Breckenridge Tap House, and Rocky Mountain Underground.

Visit an oxygen bar: Feeling the altitude? Try rejuvenating at one of the local oxygen bars: O2 Lounge, The Oxygen Guys, Peak Oxygen, and Big Air O2. (Note: We have never done this so cannot comment on its effectiveness.)
Take an art class: This local studio has classes open to the public. Check their website for the schedule.
Sample the cannabis products: While we don’t partake in this kind of extracurricular activity, inevitably every time a visitor comes into town we visit the dispensaries. Local spots in Breck include: Green Dragon, Breckenridge Organic Therapy and Organix.
